Alaina McConnell is a recent graduate of Drexel University's fashion design program. Her design aesthetic is a combination of wearable and unique, creating pieces that are simultaneously trendy and whimsical. Interested in both formal and casual wear, Alaina's goal is to design pieces that will stand the test of time and be loved for years to come

Her time working in the functional textiles industry gave her experience in the more technical aspects of fashion. Alaina believes that textile research and the implementation of emerging technology is just as important to the design process as the initial idea.

Above all else, Alaina enjoys the act of creating something new. Whether it be knit textiles made by hand or machine, embroidery projects, technical packs, sewn garments, or illustrations, Alaina is happy to create.
